Sacha Feinman’s educative discussion of the devastating effects of trauma on memory and emotion. One of my most important posts.

One of the most counter-productive and damaging aspects of the public perception of the credibility of sexual assault survivors (and those of other traumas including veterans suffering PTSD) is the assumption that honesty equals organised and coherent memories. This article paves the way to a much needed seismic shift in the understanding of trauma psychology. Survivors of trauma need to be treated with SENSITIVITY.
