A great, BRAVE article and so true, we cannot give up the real and fake though because it would take our focus off of appearances and risk losing the battle that arguing and potentially winning a favorable view of our looks. Real and fake should also be abandoned when it comes to classifying men and women in general. Well he is not a real man, so we don’t have to take him seriously, he doesn’t exist, he is not real, he is imaginary so all the problems he causes, the domestic violence he creates, well that must not be real too. Kim Kardashian is a very real person whose image and intent ally crafted persona impacts young girls, why call it fake? You cannot address real problems and social issues if they are imaginary, i.e. fake. It is a copout.
