Chimamanda Adichie elegantly conveys an enormously valuable message about rejecting “the single story” about a given category of people.

This is a remarkable speech about the way in which a dominant section of society can define the general perception of the subordinate group by the sheer virtue of their socio-economic power, and the immense importance of studying both sides of the story before judging that stereotyped group of people.
